Job Title: Civil Professional Engineer - (Senior Engineer/Project Manager)

Location: Palm Beach or Broward County.

Salary: $120,000 - 180,000 generous bonus & profit sharing.

Requirements: Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Florida. Experience in private (primarily site development design for multi-family, or site design of facilities for higher Ed -College/university) or public projects. Public projects would be water & sewer, local roadway, site facilities design, stormwater management/drainage.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Professional Engineer - Project Manager to lead and manage engineering projects from inception to completion. Must have 15 years Florida PE experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with expertise in geotechnical engineering, site development, and regulatory compliance, ensuring projects meet all technical and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee civil engineering projects from planning through execution and completion.
• Conduct geotechnical investigations and prepare site development plans.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other engineering software to create detailed design drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards during project execution.
• Lead project meetings, coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
• Perform cost estimation and develop project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
• Provide engineering design support throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on structural design and site development.
• Supervise construction activities, ensuring quality control and that work is completed on time and within budget.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 15 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering and site development principles.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
• Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting processes.
• Demonstrated ability in cost estimation and project budgeting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
