Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various engineering projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of control solutions that improve efficiency and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems using PLC programming.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to define project specifications and requirements.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Create and maintain documentation for control system designs, modifications, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in control systems technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a strong focus on PLC programming.
- Proficiency in HMI design and implementation is a plus.
- Experience with robotics and pneumatic systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CAD software for designing control system layouts.
