Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced control systems, ensuring optimal performance in various applications. This role will require strong technical expertise in PLC systems and a commitment to delivering innovative solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems using Siemens PLCs and associated software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing control systems and PLCs.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Implement HMI solutions and support integration with control systems.
- Conduct testing and validation of control strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and clients as needed.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls engineering, with a focus on PLC programming and system integration.
- Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming and control systems design.
- Experience with HVAC systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with web technologies including HTML5 and JavaScript is desirable.
- Knowledge of HMI development and MQTT communication protocols is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
