The Senior Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for electrical projects, focusing on commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors, including data centers. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems and the ability to analyze project requirements to deliver accurate and competitive bids.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects in commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather project information and clarify specifications.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids to ensure competitive pricing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate project success.
- Participate in project meetings to discuss progress and any necessary adjustments to estimates.
- Monitor project performance and update estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical estimator in commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components relevant to mission-critical environments.
- Experience with estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Competitive Salary ($120,000-$160,000 DOE)
