Title: Senior Electrical Project Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Base Salary: $100,000 - $135,000
We are one of the top electrical contractors in Texas providing electrical systems design and build for the commercial construction industry along with power line service, substation construction and reliability maintenance services, windmill/solar high voltage service and high voltage installations.
We are looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager that has strong experience with planning, scheduling, cost management, estimating, and supervise the electrical scope of projects from start to finish within commercial and industrial markets.
What You Will Be Doing
Plan and prepare project estimates, scope, and present proposals to clients
Interact with vendors to secure best project pricing
Train and effectively supervise Project Engineers in the company philosophy and systems
Negotiate and supervise the preparation of all change orders on the project
Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Foreman and General Superintendent to ensure project is being built on schedule, and within budgets
Supervise the preparation of any and all change quotations for presentation to the prime client.
Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in construction or related experience
5 years with Electrical Project Management - managing multi-million-dollar projects
Skilled with estimating, planning, scheduling, bidding, cost control, and team management
Commercial and industrial project experience
