We are seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law and experience handling complex litigation cases. This position is focused on providing legal counsel, representing clients in litigation, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in state and federal courts in employment-related litigation matters.
- Handle all phases of litigation including pre-litigation disputes, responsive pleadings, motion practice, and discovery.
- Provide legal counsel on wage and hour laws, employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and compliance with FMLA and ADA.
- Develop and implement policies and training programs to ensure compliance with employment laws.
- Draft and review legal documents, pleadings, and motions with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials throughout the litigation process.
- Licensed to practice law in California and federal courts.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on employment law.
- Strong understanding of wage laws, class actions, and administrative charges.
- Excellent academic background with a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to draft legal documents clearly and persuasively.
