Position Overview
The Senior Environmental Engineer will lead projects focused on environmental compliance, site assessment, and remediation efforts. This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective environmental solutions that meet regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage environmental engineering projects from conception through completion.
- Conduct site assessments and prepare remediation plans for contaminated sites.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with geologists and other engineers to develop effective solutions for stormwater, runoff, and wastewater management.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and environmental staff.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices for environmental engineering.
- 5 years of experience in Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license strongly preferred.
- QSD, TOR, or QISP certification strongly preferred.
- Good knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience with site assessment and remediation processes.
- Proficient in stormwater management, runoff analysis, and wastewater treatment.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Strong Pay ($80K - $120K)
