We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team, specializing in multifamily groundup construction projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring the financial success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily groundup construction projects.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
- Review and assess bid proposals, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.
- Conduct risk analysis and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and present estimates and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator in multifamily or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
