Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and documentation to prepare accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop comprehensive and competitive bids.
- Assess potential risks and research costs to ensure accurate and reliable estimates.
- Maintain detailed records of estimates and project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Provide ongoing support and updates to the project team throughout the construction process.
- 5 years of experience.
- Proven experience with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, etc).
- Extensive experience in construction management and estimating.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to assess financial implications of project decisions.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
