The Senior Estimator is responsible for developing accurate and detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi-family construction projects. This role involves collaborating with project teams to assess project specifications, scope, and requirements, ensuring all estimates align with budgetary goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates for commercial and multi-family construction projects.
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimation.
- Review and assess bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
- Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide pre-construction support by assessing feasibility and value engineering options.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for commercial and multi-family construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of general contracting practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
