Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process from concept to completion for various projects, with a focus on healthcare and laboratory environments.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and develop design solutions that meet their requirements and budget.
- Create detailed design plans, specifications, and documentation using AutoCAD, CET Designer, and 2020 CAP.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are executed effectively and efficiently.
- Research and select appropriate materials, furnishings, and systems products that align with project goals and client expectations.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to incorporate innovative design elements into projects.
- Experience in interior design, with a focus on healthcare, laboratory and pharmacy environments.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, CET Designer, and 2020 CAP.
- Strong knowledge of contract furniture and systems products.
- Prior experience working at a contract furniture dealership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- NCIDQ Certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with MillerKnoll and Steelcase products is a plus.
