Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical or Chemical Engineer to lead engineering projects and provide expert guidance in the areas of industrial construction and process design. The ideal candidate will have exceptional project management skills, leadership experience, and mechanical design experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Develop and review P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) for process systems.
- Provide technical expertise in industrial construction and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and maximize efficiency.
- Conduct feasibility studies and relay information regarding potential design conflicts to management and project stakeholders.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide training on advanced engineering practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in industrial construction or highly technical process plants.
- Strong knowledge of P&ID development and design.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, policies, and procedures
