Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network solutions to meet business needs.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Configure and manage routing and switching equipment.
- Implement network security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects.
- Document network configurations and infrastructure changes.
- Utilize network monitoring tools like PRTG and SNMP for proactive management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
- CCIE or CCNP certification is required. 4 year degree required
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer (6 years) with strong networking skills.
- Expert knowledge in Linux and networking technologies, network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS routing
- Experience with routing protocols and network security best practices.
- Familiarity with Ethernet, MPLS, LAN/WAN technologies.
- Skills in scripting languages such as Ansible and Python are a plus.
