Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage heavy civil construction projects across Florida. This role will focus on ensuring successful project execution by leading a team and coordinating with various stakeholders while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely delivery within budget constraints.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to establish project scope and objectives.
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and geotechnical requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to specifications.
• Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders and management.
• Oversee self-performing activities related to dirt-work and earthwork operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in geotechnical and environmental remediation projects.
• Strong knowledge of USACE and federal construction regulations and standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel throughout Florida as needed for project oversight.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
