Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with estimators to prepare accurate project budgets and financial forecasts.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies such as the Department of Transportation (DOT).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction sector.
- Proven experience in managing projects related to deep foundations, bridges, highways, and roadway construction.
- Strong knowledge of civil works, heavy construction practices, and concrete work.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools to track project progress and performance.
