Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Remote Sr. Software Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python and Django. You will play a critical role in designing and implementing scalable software solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving innovation within our projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Python and Django.
• Collaborate with product managers and design teams to gather requirements and develop technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Perform testing and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Optimize database queries and manage PostgreSQL databases effectively.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our development practices.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on Python and Django.
• Primary framework used is Django.
• AWS experience.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and database management.
• Familiarity with authentication tools such as Okta is a plus.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
