What You Will Be Doing
- Use drafting or architectural building prints to perform material takeoff.
- Offer a sales bid to the buyer based on their specifications.
- Collect points or measure potential jobs on-site as needed.
- Prepare for bidding by visiting the Builders Exchange and selecting potential job prints
- Contact architects and contractors to sell products and explain their qualities.
- Collaborate with vendors/suppliers to obtain competitive material quotes and purchase materials.
- Conduct quality control checks during the job process.
- Change orders for different products, services, and prices.
- Ensure pay requests are accurate.
- Assist with collecting past-due accounts.
- Participate in sales, production, and safety meetings regularly or as needed.
- Maintain company profitability and maximize market share.
- 5 years of Project Management
- Roofing experience is required
- Ability to read architectural and drafting prints
- Ability to perform a Material Takeoff
- Speak to clients to explain products/installation qualities
- Sales experience
- $70k - $115k (DOE)
