The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to handle tax compliance, planning, and consulting for a diverse client base. This role involves preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, conducting research, and providing proactive solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and provide planning strategies to minimize liabilities.
- Assist with tax audits and examinations, including client representation.
- Mentor junior staff and support their development.
- Stay updated on tax laws and industry trends.
- CPA license or progress toward obtaining one preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's in Taxation a plus.
- 3-5 years of tax experience in public accounting.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, QuickBooks).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
