Position Overview
The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, is responsible for overseeing the company's SEC reporting process and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements. This position will also be responsible for managing the technical accounting function, assisting with SEC filings, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.

Position Overview
The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, is responsible for overseeing the company's SEC reporting process and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC requirements. This position will also be responsible for managing the technical accounting function, assisting with SEC filings, and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and other SEC reports.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of effective internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with SOX 404 requirements.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the accounting team, including the assessment of complex accounting issues and the development of accounting policies and procedures.
- Manage the company's equity accounting function and ensure compliance with equity accounting rules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate financial statement reporting.
- Stay up-to-date on changes to GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX 404 requirements and communicate any changes to the accounting team.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly earnings releases and investor presentations.
- Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification required.
- 8 years of relevant experience in public accounting and industry experience.
- Experience with SEC reporting and technical accounting.
- Experience in the biotech industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SOX 404 requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Salary : $140,000 - $186,000
