Position Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing various water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and optimizing system performance. Our collaborative team environment promotes innovation and professional growth while delivering exceptional solutions to our municipal and private sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and oversee water and wastewater treatment and distribution systems.
- Engage in environmental design and alternatives analysis for infrastructure projects.
- Prepare construction documents and technical specifications for projects.
- Conduct fieldwork and manage construction phases of water and wastewater projects.
- Participate in client meetings and provide project updates and technical support.
- Evaluate operating and maintenance costs associated with water treatment systems.
- Collaborate with both public and private sector stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Assist with permitting processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement innovative solutions such as membrane bioreactor systems.
- Support municipal and civil engineering efforts related to water resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
- EIT certification is required; PE licensure is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
- Proficient in design and management of water treatment, storage, and distribution systems.
- Experience with construction management and preparation of construction documents.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software

Salary : $90,000 - $135,000
