Requirements: 5 years' of related Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent Experience

We are a rapidly growing general contractor with over 40 years of history, a full backlog for 2 years focusing on public, commercial, institutional, industrial, and private projects. We self perform all things concrete in house and are looking to add another strong superintendent to the team. We believe in working together, combining our knowledge across the company to create a cohesive plan that then will be implemented successfully for our clients.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent for our Heavy Civil and Concrete projects. The ideal candidate will oversee construction activities, ensure project deadlines are met, and maintain adherence to safety and quality standards. This role is essential in coordinating site operations and managing project teams to deliver successful construction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflow.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage and lead construction teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
• Resolve any site issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports and site logs.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure specifications and standards are met.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Superintendent in heavy civil and concrete construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Experience with sports & recreation construction projects is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
