What You Will Be Doing
Design, program, test and maintain user interface and motion control applications:
- Asist and respond to technical questions from customers and sales teams
- Define project requirements and determine feasibility
- present design proposals and risk assessments
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and customers
- Develop specifications, manuals and timelines
- Work with peers and vendors to advance technologies and conceptualize new features
- Manage projects to market release
5 years of software development related to manufacturing, in addition to:
- B.S. in Electrical of Software Engineering
- Object-oriented Programming
- Visual Studio
- Experience with Beckhoff hardware and software
- Design of Motion Control
- Microsoft tech stack: Visual Studio, MVVM, WPF
- C , C# or .NET
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Programming PLCs using structured text (i.e. IEC 61131-3)
- Knowledge of CNC theory and part programming
