Position Overview
We are seeking a talented Software/Firmware Developer to join our Warehouse Automation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining software and firmware solutions that enhance the efficiency and reliability of our warehouse automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement software and firmware for warehouse automation systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
- Utilize Angular for front-end development to create intuitive user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain PLC code for automation systems, particularly with Allen Bradley hardware.
- Ensure high-quality software development practices, including coding standards and version control.
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure software meets functional and performance specifications.
- Troubleshoot and debug existing firmware and software issues.
- Document software designs, processes, and updates for future reference.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Developer or Firmware Engineer, preferably in warehouse automation.
- Strong knowledge of C, C , C#, and ASP.NET programming languages.
- Experience with firmware development and PLC programming, particularly Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Familiarity with JSON, SQL Server, and SQL command language.
- Proficient in using Visual Studio and .NET technologies.
- Experience with Angular for front-end web applications is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
