The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in marine engineering and autonomous systems to create cutting-edge vessel designs that enhance operational efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of autonomous vessel systems and technologies.
- Conduct hydrodynamic analyses and simulations to optimize vessel performance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate control systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform structural analysis and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate designs.
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
- Develop and maintain project documentation and reports, including design specifications and regulatory submissions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in autonomous vessel technology.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in naval architecture or marine engineering, with a focus on autonomous vessels.
- Strong knowledge of hydrodynamics, vessel design principles, and marine regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and structural analysis tools.
- Experience with control systems and systems engineering methodologies.
- Demonstrated project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.
