We are seeking an experienced Sr. Real Estate Finance Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of commercial real estate transactions and financing, with a focus on providing strategic legal advice and support to our clients. This role is essential in ensuring compliance with legal standards while facilitating smooth transactions in the real estate market.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing activities.
- Draft and negotiate various real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents.
- Manage and oversee the legal aspects of real estate finance transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, real estate professionals, and other stakeholders to facilitate successful transactions.
- Conduct thorough due diligence and review title reports, surveys, and other relevant documentation.
- Advise clients on risk management strategies related to real estate transactions.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Barred in CA
- 8 years of experience in real estate law, with a focus on finance and transactions.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate principles and practices.
- Proven track record of drafting and negotiating real estate contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Has Negotiated and drafted loan documents for banks.
- Has made loans secured by real property
