Senior Structures Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structures Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and airworthiness of our aircraft. This role involves working closely with various technical and operational teams to develop and maintain effective maintenance and repair programs while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze aircraft structures for compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Develop and implement maintenance programs and repair assessment programs for aircraft structures.
• Ensure all structural modifications and repairs meet airworthiness directives and federal aviation regulations.
• Collaborate with technical operations, flight operations, and ground operations to optimize maintenance strategies and performance.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of aircraft structures to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintenance personnel.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering within the airline or aircraft industry.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance programs, repair assessment programs, and airworthiness directives.
• Familiarity with federal aviation regulations and their application in aircraft operations.
• Experience in technical operations, flight operations, and ground operations is preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
