Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction activities and manage on-site personnel.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Prepare and oversee project budgets, tracking expenses and making adjustments as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
- Implement quality control procedures to ensure project standards are met.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Plan and manage resource allocation to optimize project efficiency.
- Problem-solve on-site issues to minimize delays and maintain project timelines.
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with safety compliance and building codes.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with budgeting and cost control in construction projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively plan and schedule project activities.
- Experience in subcontractor management and negotiation.
- Proficient in problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Relevant certifications in construction management or safety compliance are a plus.
- Salary: $85K - $115K
