Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage our commercial construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, with a focus on tenant improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations on construction sites
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Schedule and oversee subcontractors and vendors
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Inspect work for quality and adherence to specifications
- Resolve any issues or delays that arise during construction
- Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, and project managers
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of tenant improvement processes
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
