Superintendent - Healthcare

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects within the healthcare sector, specifically focusing on hospitals. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while adhering to safety regulations and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Supervise on-site construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers
• Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations and standards in the construction site
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in the healthcare construction industry
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices
• Experience in commercial and healthcare construction projects, particularly hospitals
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred
