Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee and manage our multifamily construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is critical for coordinating between contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, with a strong focus on garden-style projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of construction sites
- Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors and laborers
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Conduct inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage project budgets and schedules
- Resolve any issues that arise on the job site
- Implement and maintain effective communication with all parties involved
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in construction
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and safety standards
- Experience with multi-family construction, specifically Garden Style and podium structures
- Familiarity with wood frame construction techniques
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred
- Competitive base salary (DOE): $120k-170k base
