Superintendent - Wastewater

We have been in the construction business for more than 70 years, and among the various projects we have experience with are water treatment plant construction, commercial building construction, industrial and food processing construction, and municipal swimming pool construction. We are a family owned business that takes pride in taking care of our employees and clients.

Position Overview

The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing wastewater treatment operations and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. This role involves leading a team of professionals, coordinating construction projects, and optimizing processes to enhance the efficiency of waste management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the wastewater treatment plant and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Manage construction projects related to wastewater management and treatment facilities.
• Supervise and train staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed and operational efficiency is maintained.
• Collaborate with municipal departments to enhance water quality and treatment processes.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment and facilities.
• Monitor and report on the performance of wastewater systems and initiate improvements as necessary.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in wastewater treatment or related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and environmental regulations.
• Experience in construction management and project oversight.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in advanced concrete techniques and municipal water management.
