As a Survey Department Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of surveying projects, ensuring quality and efficiency while fostering team growth and maintaining client satisfaction. This role combines leadership, technical expertise, and strategic oversight to support the continued success of our survey department.
Qualifications
- Professional Surveyor License (RPLS, PLS, PSM) preferred
- 8-10 years in the surveying industry, with proven leadership and project management experience
- Proficiency in survey software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center)
- Boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, construction staking, and legal document interpretation
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the survey department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources to meet or exceed financial and performance objectives.
- Provide technical guidance on complex survey-related activities, including ALTA surveys, boundary analysis, and construction staking.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with deliverables.
- Support business development efforts by participating in client presentations, proposal preparation, and cross-marketing opportunities.
