The Survey Project Manager will oversee and manage surveying projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all work is performed accurately and efficiently. This role involves coordinating with clients, leading a team of surveyors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of surveying projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to define project scopes and requirements.
- Lead and mentor a team of surveyors and technicians in daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal surveying regulations and standards.
- Prepare and review survey documents, including tentative maps, parcel maps, and final maps.
- Utilize Civil 3D and AutoCAD for drafting and design work related to surveying projects.
- Conduct construction staking and ALTA surveys as required.
- Review and analyze data from surveys, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is preferred.
- Proven experience in project management within the surveying sector.
- Strong knowledge of surveying and civil engineering techniques.
- Local experience desired.
