This position requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of surveying techniques and equipment, particularly in heavy civil construction projects and Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate surveying teams on site to ensure project milestones are met.
- Review survey data and calculations for accuracy and compliance with FDOT standards.
- Prepare and maintain surveying project documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to plan and execute surveying tasks effectively.
- Train and mentor junior surveyors and field staff on best practices and safety protocols.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in surveying, with a focus on heavy civil construction.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software, including GPS and total stations.
- Strong knowledge of FDOT surveying standards and regulations.

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
