Experience with Linux System Administrator is a core requirement for consideration. Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability/willingness to up clear to a CI Poly or FSP is required as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and administer Linux and Windows servers to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including firewalls and access controls, to protect sensitive data.
- Configure and manage Active Directory along with user account management.
- Utilize virtualization technologies to deploy and manage virtual machines.
- Oversee backup and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development teams to support cloud technologies such as AWS.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible for automated deployments.
- Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.
- Must possess TS/SCI Clearanc with ability to obtain CI Poly or Full Scope Poly.
- Proven experience in system administration, particularly with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Ability to write scripts in Python for automation tasks.
- Experience with hardware management and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with database and web-server technologies.
- Coding expertise in Python, Grafana, Prometheus, Puppet, Ansible.
- Experience with the following: Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch
