Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing tax planning, preparation, and compliance for our clients, particularly focusing on high-net-worth individuals and partnerships. This role requires a deep understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as the ability to provide strategic business planning advice to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Conduct tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and identify potential tax-saving opportunities.
• Provide tax planning services for high-net-worth individuals and partnerships, including strategic advice on financial decisions.
• Direct and mentor junior staff in the preparation of various tax documents and compliance reports.
• Interact with clients to discuss their tax needs, provide guidance, and address any concerns on tax matters.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting principles.
• Review and analyze multi-state tax issues and prepare solutions for clients.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax services.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly for high-net-worth individuals and partnerships.
• Proven experience in tax research, tax planning, and tax preparation.
• Excellent client interaction and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
