We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Manager to oversee our tax compliance and planning. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our organization meets all tax obligations while maximizing tax efficiencies. This position requires strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of tax regulations and legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns including 1040, 1041, 1120, and 1120S forms.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws, staying updated on changes that may affect the organization.
- Prepare and review complex tax calculations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in submissions.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial performance.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors for tax compliance and audits.
- Provide guidance and support to junior tax staff, fostering their professional development.
- Respond to inquiries from tax authorities and represent the organization in tax-related matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
