The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and planning for our clients, ensuring adherence to all regulations while optimizing their tax obligations. This role requires a strong understanding of various tax forms and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns including Form 1040, 1120, 1120S, and 1041.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations while identifying opportunities for tax savings and efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support on complex tax issues.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to stay updated on changes in tax legislation.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial situation and provide strategic tax planning advice.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
