The Tax Principal is responsible for overseeing tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves leading tax planning initiatives, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic guidance to clients on tax matters, including estate and gift tax implications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax compliance and advisory projects for clients.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Review and approve tax returns prepared by the team.
- Provide expert advice on tax regulations and compliance issues.
- Work closely with clients to understand their tax needs and objectives.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members in tax-related matters.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may affect clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
- Experience in estate and gift tax planning is a plus.

Salary : $170,000 - $240,000
