The ideal candidate will provide leadership to the tax team and coordinate audit activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and risk management related to tax issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage tax compliance and planning activities for corporate, state, and international tax matters.
- Research and analyze tax issues to provide informed recommendations on tax strategies and risk management.
- Coordinate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to facilitate tax audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and international regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that optimize the organization's tax position and support business objectives.
- Manage the transfer pricing processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Utilize tax software (e.g., CCH, Thomson Reuters) to streamline tax reporting processes and maintain accurate records.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to the tax team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or JD is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on corporate and international tax.
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and state tax laws.
- Proven experience in tax research, tax strategy development, and risk management.
- Familiarity with tax software applications such as CCH and Thomson Reuters.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring junior staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
