The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management and hold a CPA certification. The Tax Senior will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning for various clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients and provide valuable tax advice and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
- Perform tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws
- Advise clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and address any tax-related inquiries
- Manage and develop relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing guidance and support
- Assist with tax audits and other tax-related projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification not required but preferred
- Strong knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, business, trust, gift, estate, NFP tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, 1041)
- Experience with tax planning and tax research
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
