Position Overview
The Tax Senior is responsible for managing and overseeing the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing expert guidance on tax-related matters to clients. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members to achieve optimal tax outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals and entities.
- Provide expert tax advice and strategies to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on tax regulations and changes.
- Assist in managing client relationships and communications regarding tax matters.
- Support the training and development of junior staff members.
- Collaborate with auditors during tax audit processes.
- Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend solutions to clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
