Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex individual (1040), corporate (1120, 1120S), and partnership (1065) tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Identify and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
- Assist in managing and training junior tax staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Handle client inquiries regarding tax-related issues and provide excellent client service.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.
- 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation.
- Proficient in tax preparation software (CCH) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Salary: $100K- $160K/ yr DOE
