Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead for our Business Intelligence Application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading business intelligence initiatives and optimizing data solutions to drive strategic decision-making within the organization.
This is a player/coach, hands-on technical development position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Power BI solutions and dashboards for business reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and manage data models using SQL and Azure services to ensure accurate data representation.
- Utilize Python scripts for data manipulation and analysis to support business needs.
- Work with Databricks, Snowflake and ADF to build our BI solutions.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on best practices in business intelligence and data analytics including code reviews and testing.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of Business Intelligence development.
- Strong expertise in Power BI and Azure.
- Experience with Databricks, Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Experience with SQL and Python.
- Experience mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
