Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead to oversee the offshore and onshore development team for one of our business applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C#/.NET Core and JavaScript frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of software applications using C#/.Net Core and SQL Server.
- Oversee a small team of engineers onshore and offshore.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new applications.
- Manage the applications and integrations for this area of the business.
- Manage and monitor all aspects of the SDLC and the production support of business applications.
- Create design documents and specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7 years of experience in software development using MS technologies, C#/.Net/.Net Core and SQL Server.
- Must have experience transitioning an application from .Net to .Net Core.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .Net, JavaScript, React, Angular, GraphQL, HTTP, REST and SOAP.
- Must have experience with Docker and containerization.
- Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment.
- Experience in the insurance industry is a huge plus.
- Experience managing an offshore team is highly desirable.
