Technical Support Specialist

Location: 100% remote, however you must reside in the Austin, TX area

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. This role primarily involves assisting clients with technical issues, guiding them through troubleshooting steps, and ensuring their technical needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 Help Desk support to customers via phone, email, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and connectivity.
  • Assist clients with remote access setups and configurations.
  • Conduct browser troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of web applications.
  • Document support interactions and maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in technical support or help desk roles.
  • Strong understanding of Level 1 Help Desk procedures and techniques.
  • Familiarity with remote access tools and technologies.
  • Experience with browser troubleshooting and common web issues.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Software as a Service (SaaS) applications.
