Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve territory sales goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including retail and big box stores.
- Conduct regular visits to customers and prospects to promote products and services.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the territory.
- Participate in trade shows and advertising efforts to enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
- Provide training and support to retail partners to maximize product placement and sales.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in outside sales, preferably in the retail, lawn & garden/pesticides industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.
- Strong knowledge of lawn and garden products and market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within the Midwest region as required.
- Experience with trade shows and advertising campaigns is a plus.
