Position Overview
The Total Loss Claims Representative is responsible for managing and processing auto claims that have been deemed total losses. This role involves evaluating claims, negotiating settlements, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the claims process. The goal is to provide timely resolutions while adhering to company policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate total loss claims to determine the validity and settlement amount.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and third-party vendors.
- Coordinate with salvage vendors for vehicle disposal and salvage processes.
- Provide clear communication to clients regarding their claim status and next steps.
- Review and analyze damage estimates to ensure accuracy in claims processing.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to vehicle financing and auto leases as they pertain to total loss situations.
- Previous experience in auto claims processing, specifically with total loss claims.
- Strong negotiation skills to settle claims efficiently.
- Knowledge of vehicle financing and auto lease agreements.
- Ability to analyze damage estimates and assess vehicle value accurately.
- Experience working with salvage vendors is a plus.
- Must be available to work in-office in any of the listed locations.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
