Position Overview
The Transportation Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing transportation projects to ensure safe and efficient movement of people and goods. This role involves evaluating transportation systems, conducting feasibility studies, and collaborating with various stakeholders to develop sustainable solutions that meet community needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze transportation infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and transit systems.
- Conduct traffic modeling and simulations to assess transportation needs and impacts.
- Perform environmental impact analysis to ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainability.
- Utilize AutoCAD and GIS software for designing and mapping transportation projects.
- Collaborate with government agencies, consultants, and the public to gather input and provide project updates.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare cost estimates and feasibility reports to support project funding and decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
- Experience in transportation planning and highway design.
- Proficient in traffic modeling and analysis techniques.
- Strong knowledge of environmental impact analysis processes.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and other relevant software tools.
- Demonstrated experience in project management and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Salary : $70,000 - $90,000
