Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in dredging projects to lead our team in delivering high-quality marine construction services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, ensuring compliance with governmental regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders, including federal agencies and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage dredging projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with federal agencies, including the US Army Corps of Engineers, to ensure project compliance with governmental regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports, providing updates to stakeholders as necessary.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and resources, and manage subcontractors and vendors involved in the project.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide solutions to mitigate potential issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to facilitate project success.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on dredging or marine projects.
- Strong knowledge of federal regulations and experience working with government contracts, particularly with USACE.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Experience in both offshore and freshwater dredging projects is preferred.
